I started StartPad.org because I wanted to be a part of a larger community of software developers and startups here in Seattle. Hacking on code alone at home is fun, but not nearly as fun as sharing ideas and experience with others in the community.

I started my career at Microsoft (19 years - Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), and now enjoy working on web-based applications. I'm currently involved with:

  • Faves.com (formerly BlueDot.us, 2005) - As Head Cheerleader I mostly advise, encourage - working on product strategy, marketing, testing, etc.
  • PageForest.com (2007) - Unannounced startup
